The estate “Il Muro” has been owned by the Pancaro family for more than two centuries.
Its land has always been used for vine cultivation thanks to  its favorable microclimate and particular environmental conditions that are ideal for producing high quality grapes, allowing to create wines in the most environmentally sustainable and eco-friendly way.
The potential of the soils (“galestro” is the Italian name for soil comprised of loose marl and limeston) and the temperate climate, characterized by a wide range of temperatures due to the closeness to the Alpe of Poti (1000 mt), are the perfect ingredients of a habitat that improves the organoleptic qualities of grapes and the health of the vines.
The farm is situated in the very heart of Tuscany, a few miles away from Arezzo, a medieval city of Etruscan origin in  Via Delle Conserve 51.
It extends over an area of about 65 ha, among woods and tilled land, mainly vineyards and olive groves.
Vineyards and olive groves are situated on hills which slope gently down towards the valley of the Castro torrent.
